Sherita Hughes, LCSW
Owner/Lead Clinician
Sherita is a professional with a heart for helping people. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked in different fields such as criminal justice advocacy, medical social work, mental health counseling, and substance treatment. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania and a certificate in trauma from Widener University, Sherita's therapeutic approach is based on evidence-based practices such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based perspective, Mindfulness Practices and Motivational Interviewing.
She works collaboratively with her clients to create a personalized plan that is centered on their unique needs and goals, supporting their growth in self-awareness and reflective abilities. Sherita launched Healing & Balance Therapeutic Services, LLC, where she not only work with individuals but also engages in community outreach and education to promote mental health awareness in communities.

Bebe Martinez, LSW
Bebe is a Licensed Social Worker with 15 years of experience and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She specializes in experiential therapy, weaving together Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, EMDR, Expressive Arts, and Mindfulness practices.

She takes a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy, working alongside individuals to create personalized, affirming plans that support self-awareness, emotional connection, and lasting growth. Her work is guided by curiosity, humor, and compassion, creating a safe, non-judgmental space for exploration, connection, and healing
Jennifer Lombardo, LCSW
Jen is a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for helping adolescents and adults navigate the messy and meaningful parts of being human. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and the weight of ongoing everyday stressors.
Her approach is led through a Person-Centered lens, while integrating practices from trauma informed care, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness practices to support growth, healing, and emotional resilience. Jen believes therapy should feel collaborative, empowering, and tailored to her clients. Outside of sessions, you can usually find Jen out in nature, hanging with her dog, or laughing with family and friends.


Stephanie DeVaughn , LSW
Stephanie (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals through life’s challenging transitions. She is passionate about helping people navigate ongoing stressors and discover supportive coping strategies to manage overwhelming moments.

Stephanie specializes in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Her practice is grounded through a Person-Centered approach that emphasizes Strength-Based outcomes while empowering clients to develop healthier thought patterns and their sense of purpose. She strives to create a therapeutic space that is supportive, collaborative and tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Outside of therapy sessions, Stephanie enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, exploring new hobbies, engaging in community service, and reading. She is deeply committed to walking alongside individuals on their journey of growth and healing.

Sonnia Brown, LPC
Sonnia is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and grief therapist with a profound commitment to helping individuals, families, and communities navigate the complexities of grief, loss, and life transitions, particularly those impacted by gun violence and traumatic experiences. She is also the founder of Just Breathe LLC.
Her passion for this work is matched by her dedication to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly within Black and Brown communities. Sonnia believes healing begins with open dialogue, compassion, and creating safe spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. She is committed to empowering clients as they process their experiences, build resilience, and move forward on their healing journey.
While Sonnia specializes in grief and trauma-related concerns, she also works with adults, teenagers, families, and couples navigating a variety of life challenges and adjustments. Her areas of support include grief and loss, stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, communication difficulties, family dynamics, life transitions, self-esteem, emotional regulation, coping skills, and navigating major changes throughout different stages of life.

Kanifah Wood, LSW
Kanifah is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who believes therapy should feel collaborative, affirming, and grounded in real-life change. She works with individuals navigating stress, life transitions, chronic health conditions, family challenges, and emotional distress.
Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, while always tailoring treatment to each person’s unique experiences and goals.
Kanifah’s professional background in medical social work, group therapy, and community-based counseling
has shaped her holistic and strengths-based perspective. Above all, she aims to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to build sustainable coping skills and meaningful change.
Jazmine Walker, LSW
Jazmine is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with experience across outpatient, collaborative care, intensive outpatient, school-based, crisis, and geriatric settings. She works with individuals, families, couples, and groups, supporting clients ages four and older from a variety of relational and developmental perspectives. She treats a range of concerns including PTSD and trauma-related conditions, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, grief and loss, self-esteem and body image concerns, and relationship stressors.
Her approach is eclectic and thoughtfully tailored, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-focused approaches. Desiree Jorden Johnson, LCSW
Desiree is a Clinical Social Worker with over twelve years of experience in the field. She provides support to individuals of all ages, including veterans. Her style is built on the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Desiree empowers her clients with tools and strategies to gain confidence and foster lasting mental wellness. She believes that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. As a licensed clinical social worker, she uses an integrative and eclectic approach, drawing from various evidence-based modalities to create a tailored treatment plan.

Elizabeth Thomas, LPC
Elizabeth is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to supporting clients who are ready to heal, grow, and reconnect with their sense of self. With experience in trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, behavioral health, and family systems, Elizabeth helps children, teens, and adults better understand their experiences, identify patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop healthier relationships.
She believes therapy is a collaborative partnership built on trust, compassion, and empowerment. Her warm and supportive approach creates a safe space where clients can explore their emotions, challenges, and personal goals while feeling heard and understood. Elizabeth works with clients navigating a variety of concerns, including anxiety, low self-esteem, addiction-related challenges, ADHD, autism-related stress, family conflict, relationship concerns, life transitions, emotional regulation, and personal growth.
